The Fundamental Right to Peace in the Workplace

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the right to peace as applicable to the legal framework within labor law. The general objective is to examine the concept and history of the right to peace, which originates from international discussions but must be understood locally to ensure social well-being. Specifically, the study seeks to understand the logic of the right to peace as a fundamental right capable of safeguarding dignity in the labor market. Historically, work has often been associated with torture and moral degradation, making the fundamental right to peace a key ally in protecting human dignity. This study does not intend to exhaust the topic. Regarding the methodology, a bibliographic analysis and investigation were used to develop this research report.
